These terms apply to your use of nhc.co.za, bethlehem.nhc.co.za and harrismith.nhc.co.za (the “Websites”). The Websites are run for New Horizon College Bethlehem and New Horizon College Harrismith (“New Horizon College”, “NHC”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By using the Websites, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Websites.
2.1 The Websites give general information about New Horizon College, its Bethlehem and Harrismith campuses, admissions, fees, academics, sport and culture.
2.2 We try to keep this information accurate and up to date, but it may change and may contain errors. Fees, dates, school times, subjects and other details on the Websites are a guide only. The information that applies to you is what appears in your signed enrolment documents, fee schedules and written communication from the school.
2.3 Nothing on the Websites is an offer of a place at the school. Admission depends on the school’s admission requirements and process, available places and signed enrolment documents.
You agree not to:
4.1 If any part of the Websites requires a username and password, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.
4.2 Tell us immediately at bhm@nhc.co.za (Bethlehem) or admin@nhc.co.za (Harrismith) if you think someone else knows your login details.
4.3 We may suspend access if we believe a login is being misused.
5.1 When you send us an enquiry or application through the Websites, you confirm that the information is true and complete, and that you are entitled to share any personal information about other people (for example your child) that you include.
5.2 We handle this information as described in our Privacy and POPIA Notice.
5.3 Sending a form does not guarantee a reply within a set time, an interview or a place at the school.
6.1 The content on the Websites, including text, logos, crests, photographs, videos and design, belongs to NHC or is used with permission. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use.
6.2 You may not copy, publish, change or reuse any content, and in particular any photo or video of a learner, without our written permission.
6.3 If you believe that content on the Websites infringes your rights, or that a photo of your child is shown without consent, please contact the relevant campus office (bhm@nhc.co.za or admin@nhc.co.za) and we will look into it.
The Websites may link to other websites or platforms, such as social media pages, maps or communication apps. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Using them is subject to their own terms.
We do not guarantee that the Websites will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the Websites at any time.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 or any other law, where that right cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on the Websites, together with the date it was last updated.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
